*Review* – The Peanut Butter Falcon

Image result for the peanut butter falconI wasn’t sure I was going to like The Peanut Butter Falcon. It seemed too fake, too contrived. I was sure there was going to be some message the writers were trying to beat us up with.

Turns out I was right – except it was well-written and subtle. Also, it was a message that I routinely write about in my blog. You know, treating people with respect if for no other reason than because they are a fellow human being.

Letting people be different and unique. Without judgement.

I know this movie came out a while ago but I think it’s perfect for the holidays. You know, the time of year when we run into the most people. People we don’t normally deal with and may or may not particularly understand.

Plus there’s wrestling! If you’re not a professional wrestling fan that may not mean much to you but if you are then the cameos alone make this movie worth watching.

So if you’re looking for a positive movie with great writing and acting that’s a change of pace from the regular holiday movies I highly suggest this one!

    • Thank you! I don’t really have any holiday themed recommendations but I’m in the middle of Andromeda Evolution – sequel to Andromeda Strain – and if you like technical sci fi both of these books are awesome. And Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell is perfect for dealing with people around the holidays. Thanks for reading and commenting. 🙂
