*Book Review* The Gone World

the gone worldThe Gone World by Tom Sweterlitsch is an awesome, mind-bending story. I picked it up at the library on a whim because I liked the cover and the reviews on the back. And I was in the mood for a good sci-fi thriller.

This book was that and so much more. Think X-Files, NCIS, and time travel combined. Yeah, I was skeptical at first too, but after a few pages I was hooked. I actually looked forward to continue reading it every day.

One of the things I liked best about the book is that it took difficult concepts and made them understandable. I’m not saying they were dumbed down. Everything was written in such a way that made time travel possible.

Think about that… The possibility of time travel. Ah, maybe I just want to believe. But what’s so wrong with that? We all need a little magic in our lives. To think about things that stretch the limits of our imagination.

So if you’re looking for a great sci-fi thriller that throws in crime drama you should definitely check this book out!
